by Shane Henson — January 9, 2012—Maintenance specialist Seddon Property Services recently snagged a 12-month contract to provide building maintenance services for Leisure Connection, a leisure management company that operates more than 70 sports and cultural venues across the U.K. The company’s large portfolio includes 91 swimming pools, more than 25 football pitches (soccer fields), four theaters, and 10 hotel and fitness venues, all of which serve over 25 million visitors each year.
Seddon will be tasked with carrying out reactive maintenance service from its regional service hubs while the planned maintenance work will be run from its Bolton office in the U.K. The contract includes building fabric maintenance and painting and decorating services, according to Seddon’s leadership.
