by Rebecca Walker — February 4, 2011—Serco has won a 25-year facilities management contract at New York University Abu Dhabi’s main campus. The new campus will be built on Saadiyat Island in Abu Dhabi.
Serco signed a preliminary services agreement with Mubadala Infrastructure, a subsidiary of the Mubadala Development Company in December, and will deliver pre-operational services including design reviews, life-cycle optimization and procurement and operational development strategies.
The group will provide a full range of facilities management services when the campus opens in 2014, for the full 25-year period.
The NYUAD campus will include classrooms, libraries and IT facilities, laboratories, student and staff housing, and sports and drama facilities.
