by Shane Henson — October 16, 2013—Johnson Controls Global Workplace Solutions, a division of Johnson Controls offering facilities, corporate real estate, and energy management services, recently secured a contract with Shell to provide the energy giant with facilities management services.
Under the Global Framework Agreement for Facilities Management signed by the two companies, Johnson Controls will provide a wide range of services, including hard facilities management, for Shell’s property estates in specific geographies. These contracts will support Shell in achieving its aspiration to be the world’s most competitive and innovative energy company, Shell says.
Johnson Controls already works with many of the largest global companies and is pleased to work with Shell, which it has served in the past.
“We are delighted to have been selected for this important agreement, which I believe reflects the quality of our support services offering and the strength of our growing relationship with Shell,” said Global Workplace Solutions President John Murphy. “We look forward to working closely with Shell to deliver high-quality services for its property estates and operations.”
