Sherwin-Williams offers ArmorSeal floor coating with unlimited color options

by Rebecca Walker — September 11, 2009—Sherwin-Williams’ ArmorSeal 1000 HS Epoxy Floor Coating, a heavy-duty interior/exterior floor coating, now has a clear tint base formulation that can be color matched at local stores in unlimited colors, says the company.

The time-tested high-gloss product was previously available in clear, white and six premixed colors only. A high-solids, two-component catalyzed polyamide coating, it reliably delivers aesthetic appeal along with durable, long-term protection for industrial, commercial and marine applications where a heavy duty epoxy is required.

ArmorSeal, formulated for application to steel, concrete and wood surfaces, is known for fast return to service and superior resistance to alkalis, acids, solvents, jet fuel and grease, as well as moisture, abrasion and impact. The coating can be formulated to meet ADA requirements for slip resistant floors, and is suitable for use in USDA-inspected facilities.
