The digital locking cylinder 3061-SC with integrated RFID reader, is a cylinder with extremely compact dimensions, and it has a chic design for cylinders of this type on the market, says the company.
It opens up the world of Simonsvoss to owners of 13.56 MHz Smartcards, offering many advantages, such as direct or virtual networking, active transponders or passive cards, global wireless networking in the Simonsvoss Wavenet, and combination with existing Simonsvoss systems or time recording and access control systems from other manufacturers.
This cylinder can read both the well-known Mifare Classic badge in all variants, and the newer and more secure Mifare Desfire technology, despite the fact that it’s no larger than the digital locking cylinder.
The digital locking cylinder 3061- SC also features an LED on the outer knob to allow authorization and display messages.
