by jbs041310 j5 — April 14, 2010—The 24/7 vacant property protection specialist SitexOrbis has secured just under £1 million worth of contracts in recent weeks. These gains take the total for new business won to £2.2 million since the start of 2010.
The latest contracts come from the public sector: current customer Derwentside Homes awarded over £400,000 worth of work for empty property security and cleaning; new customer Sussex Police requires an estimated £160,000 of emergency boarding on properties over the next four years; and South Tyneside Homes signed over security work previously with another company that is thought to be worth in excess of £300,000.
SitexOrbis’ response center portfolio also increased with a contract awarded by East Durham Homes to answer out-of-hours calls from tenants regarding repairs and maintenance.
SitexOrbis is the new name for Orbis Property Protection, following a move to unite the group’s Orbis and Sitex operations in Europe under one brand name. SitexOrbis offers integrated property and people security solutions, including empty property management, after-hours support for social housing, protection for lone workers, cleaning and infection control services, long-term mold eradication and access control.
