by Shane Henson — March 9, 2012—Sodexo, a global provider of on-site service solutions, has entered into a partnership with Unilever, widely recognized as a leading supplier of fast-moving consumer goods. Through the contract, awarded for an initial five years and worth in excess of $90 million euros per year, Sodexo will deliver and integrate a wide range of services at approximately 70 sites across 15 countries in Europe.
According to Sodexo, the agreement aligns strongly with its strategic aim to expand its provision of facilities management solutions for its clients and to integrate a wide range of services that help improve its clients’ performance, as well as the quality of life of those it serves. Sodexo’s facilities enhancement services cover such areas as maintenance and upkeep, project management, energy savings, and landscaping and groundskeeping. The company currently has 413,000 employees in 80 countries.
