by AF 0827 e3 — August 31, 2009—The Solar Trade Association (STA) and the Heating and Hotwater Industry Council (HHIC) are jointly launching the Solar Thermal Benchmark Commissioning Checklist and STA Solar Handbook.
This will help ensure that customers are provided with the correct equipment for their needs; that the equipment is installed, commissioned and serviced in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions by competent persons; and that it meets the requirements of the appropriate building regulations.
The Solar Handbook will be published on an annual basis, providing up-to-date insight to changes taking place within the solar industry and in particular, the Association members’ developments.
The Handbook includes a full directory of STA members, all of whom work with the high standards and Code of Ethical Practice of the Solar Trade Association.
