Succession Capital announces acquisition of Intermountain Total Facility Services

by Brianna Crandall — August 12, 2015—Of interest to companies in the market for outsourced facilities maintenance services in the western United States, Succession Capital, a subsidiary of Lynx Equity Limited, has announced the acquisition of Intermountain Total Facility Services (dba American Maintenance and Turf-it Landscaping) and Executive Facilities (dba Executive Janitorial).

The Intermountain Group is said to be one of the largest facility maintenance companies in its region, providing landscaping, snow clearing, janitorial, and handyman services to commercial and residential clients throughout Utah, Wyoming, and Idaho. Starting out with a focus on landscaping, the Intermountain Group gradually added services to the business, reportedly ensuring the full breadth of customers’ needs were always met and achieving “exceptional and consistent” growth year after year.

“We were immediately impressed by Intermountain’s responsiveness to its customers and its ability to capture new market opportunities. Intermountain’s strong management team has built an exceptional company culture that we look forward to welcoming to the group,” commented Lynx Vice President Mathew Burpee. “Intermountain has the goal of becoming the one-stop shop for all facility maintenance services, and we are very excited to partner with them to execute on this vision.”

This acquisition brings Lynx’s portfolio to 42 companies, with Succession Capital now representing over 30 percent. Lynx Equity and Succession Capital continue to pursue acquisitions of small and medium-sized businesses throughout North America from owners looking to retire.
