The new five-megapixel cameras include the CAM4571 outdoor dome, the CAM3571 bullet, and the CAM2511 network camera.
According to the company, the cameras feature the latest technology for five-megapixel image sensors and the advanced image processor, and buyers won’t have to worry about the low-video quality under low-light conditions that is the major setback for most five-megapixel cameras in the market. In addition, the cameras support the H.264 high-profile encoding with 14 FPS for 2560×1920 resolution (five megapixel) and 21 FPS for 2048×1536 resolution (three megapixel), the company says. They are also equipped with the advanced image functions such as three-dimensional (3D) noise reduction, programmable sharpness enhancement and wide dynamic range control.
Other benefits the cameras offer include a day/night function, 3x zoom, and auto focus. Surveon’s says its new five-megapixel cameras support Open Network Video Interface Forum (ONVIF) standards and are fully compatible with Surveon’s VMS ES2.4 and third-party VMS, giving customers a broad range of solutions to select from. Featuring 100 percent in-house design, Surveon’s proven end-to-end solutions—from cameras, enterprise network video recorder (NVR) to Internet protocol (IP) storage, have gone through a comprehensive quality assurance process, including hundreds of hours of rigorous assurance testing on performance and integration validation to ensure high quality and reliability, the company says.
