by Shane Henson — May 31, 2013—SYAC-TB, now the Security Division of Techboard SRL, a manufacturer of professional printed circuit boards, announced the release of a new application this month that allows facilities management and security professionals to check security cameras and alarms using an Apple iPad tablet. SYAC-TB also released updated app versions for Apple iPhone and for Android tablets and smartphones .
All versions of the iDigieye HD app are all available for free download, says SYAC-TB (click on links above). The connection can be done in live streaming, allowing the user to select the camera of interest. It is also possible to check the status of the active alarms (digital inputs, errors, etc.), to control the digital outputs and to force their activation.
Furthermore, the iDigiEye HD app allows users to configure, for multiple DigiEye systems, the connection parameters (such as quality, frame rate and resolution) and to activate, for higher security, user and site authentication.
