by Ann Withanee — December 13, 2010—Teknion introduces a new business name: Teknion Limited. Effective December 1, 2010, Teknion Limited carries out the activities of both Teknion Furniture Systems Co. Limited and TK Canada Limited.
“For Teknion dealers, customers and suppliers, changing the business name to Teknion Limited simplifies doing business with us and eliminates any confusion caused by having different business names,” according an announcement by David Feldberg, President and CEO of Teknion Corp.
“When we began operations nearly 30 years ago, Teknion Furniture Systems was an accurate moniker of our business. At that time, our first product was T/O/S, a panel system. Today, Teknion is an international designer and manufacturer with an extensive portfolio of workplace furnishings in all product categories. This name change more accurately reflects Teknion’s position as a full-service workplace furnishings provider in all product categories, and better aligns our corporate names worldwide.”
The name change does not affect the company’s U.S. operations, which will continue to operate through Teknion LLC.
