by Brianna Crandall — March 30, 2015—The winners of the Cleaning Show Innovation Awards 2015 were announced at the recent Cleaning Show in London, attended by over 5,000 visitors from nearly 60 countries. The winners were selected by a panel of professional judges.
The Overall Winner is TL Killi’s iMop, which the company claims “is going to change the cleaning industry the same way iPhone changed mobile phones.” Said to offer the cleaning performance and speed of large ride-on floor scrubbers while giving the flexibility of a flatmop, the iMop can clean under beds and tables, up to the edges of floors, and inside washrooms and even toilet cubicles. The patented system, through which the 22-kilogram iMop has no functional wheels in contact with the floor, gives the machine a hovercraft feel and provides the maneuverability. As there are no wheels taking the weight, the brush pressure is 22kg—equal to large ride-on machines and resulting in great floor cleaning results, says the company.
