Toibot motorized robot cleans, disinfects, polishes toilet

by Brianna Crandall — November 30, 2016 — For the past couple of years, Israel-based entrepreneurs David Alush and Daniel Tokarev have been researching the history and methods of toilet cleaning. They say they were amazed to discover that for the past 90 years the manual toilet brush has been the cleaning technique used for what is often the filthiest place in a home or workplace.

The two are expecting that will soon change with the unique robot they developed that is capable of cleaning, disinfecting and polishing the toilet without anyone having to touch either the toilet brush or the toilet bowl.

Toibot motorized robot

The antibacterial, hydrophobic Toibot motorized robot can clean, disinfect and polish the toilet without anyone having to touch either the toilet brush or the toilet bowl.

Toibot is made of antibacterial and hydrophobic materials that help keep it 99.9% bacteria free. Designed to attach easily to any toilet model, this “revolutionary” invention is battery powered and operates with the touch of a button that is located outside of the toilet bowl.

Long-lasting cleaning capsules are also used in the motorized robot. The capsules use a nontoxic solution to facilitate thorough and comprehensive cleaning. They are designed to be easily installed and easily replaced.

With a working prototype and a lot of potential customers around the world, Toibot Ltd. is preparing for its crowdfunding campaign. The company has posted a demo video of its motorized robot on YouTube and on the Toibot Web site.
