Tricycle develops Tryk Now digital downloads for design collaboration, 3D drawings

by AF1014a3 — October 19, 2009 Tricycle has introduced Tryk Now, a digital version of an interior surface that can be downloaded and used immediately in a 3D rendering program, for client presentations or for collaborations with colleagues while waiting for a printed Tryk or physical sample to arrive.

With this tool, the design process can begin the same day and move from sampling to specification faster and more sustainably, says the company. Virtual installation using a Tryk Now image allows for the visualization of surfaces for scale and perspective before the surface is actually manufactured.

Tryk Now brings enhanced speed and digital presentation functionality to the sustainable workflow supported by the suite of existing Tryk tools, which includes the Tryk Studio online platform and the numerous formats of realistic, recyclable prints ideal for branded presentation and product selection during the early rounds of a project.

Tryk products and services make specification faster, cheaper and greener, from product development to merchandising to sampling. Manufacturers, architects and designers benefit from a more efficient process with substantially decreased lead times while diverting sample waste from landfills.

Since 2002 Tricycle has helped commercial interiors manufacturers, interior designers and architects reduce sample waste. The company’s Tryk products and services make specification faster, cheaper, and greener. For details, see Tryk Web site.
