UGL Unicco wins five-year contract to provide full FM services at Quincy University

by AF 0120 g5 — January 22, 2010—Quincy University in Quincy, Illinois, has selected UGL Unicco to provide facilities management services for its campus buildings and grounds. UGL Uniccos facilities services will also include managing capital improvements and renovations.

Under the five-year contract, UGL Unicco will provide full facilities management services, including the daily management of custodial, grounds and maintenance operations, as well as the upkeep of athletic fields. It will help the University control its energy usage by proactively managing energy consumption and costs.

UGL Unicco brings extensive experience in higher education to the University. It currently provides comprehensive facilities services to scores of colleges and universities ranging from regional institutions to large private and state universities, as well as Ivy League schools.

UGL Unicco is implementing its Sustainable Services suite that uses the latest in equipment and non-toxic cleaning, landscaping and maintenance products to improve environmental quality. It is also introducing the latest in facilities management technologies and practices including its UNI-Q mobile inspection system, computer-based systems to issue work orders and recap results, and its USafe employee safety program.
