UL expands occupational health and safety presence with PureSafety acquisition

Founded in 1999, PureSafety enables employers to manage health safety and risks more efficiently and effectively with industry-leading OH&S software and expertise. More than 1,500 organizations rely on PureSafety to optimize overall business performance with a suite of state-of-the-art software applications that covers the entire lifecycle of workforce health and safety management.

Through the acquisition, more than 250 knowledgeable professionals will join UL’s fast-growing training and advisory services practice, which provides relevant data, information and business intelligence to UL’s worldwide customer base, notes the company. PureSafety’s workplace safety training courseware, safety management, and employee health and clinic management solutions will become an integral addition to UL’s service capabilities.

Bill Grana, along with the rest of PureSafety’s leadership team, will continue to manage PureSafety’s operations. The business will remain headquartered in Franklin, Tennessee.
