by Brianna Crandall — May 8, 2013—ACGIH, the occupational and environmental health organization, has released Industrial Ventilation: A Manual of Recommended Practice for Design, 28th Edition, which is one of over 25 titles featured in the ACGIH Signature Publications Series. The new edition of the manual, which has always been a top seller, contains a wealth of relevant and practical information on the design, maintenance, and evaluation of industrial exhaust ventilation systems.
Since its first edition in 1951, Industrial Ventilation: A Manual of Recommended Practice has been used by engineers and industrial hygienists to design and evaluate industrial ventilation systems. In the 26th Edition, the Manual underwent a major reorganization into two manuals: Industrial Ventilation: A Manual of Recommended Practice for Design (Design Manual) and Industrial Ventilation: A Manual of Recommended Practice for Operation and Maintenance (O&M Manual).
Now in its 28th edition, the Design Manual has taken another step forward—incorporating metric (SI) values in tables and problem solutions to augment the improved text and information.
Industrial Ventilation: A Manual of Recommended Practice for Design, 28th Edition, Publication #2097, ISBN: 978-1-607260-57-8, is available online from the ACGIH Store; ACGIH member price: $111.96; nonmember price: $139.95 + S/H.
