by Brianna Crandall — January 28, 2011—The National Center of Construction Education and Research’s (NCCER) Sustainable Construction Supervisor course has been approved as high-quality green building education by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC).
With its approval by USGBC, the course will now help LEED Professionals satisfy their Credentialing Maintenance Program requirements from the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI). Sustainable Construction Supervisor is worth 20 GBCI CE hours from USGBC.
NCCER earned recognition as a USGBC Education Provider last year with the approval of Your Role in the Green Environment and four HVAC modules. Education Providers are third-party organizations that offer top-notch and relevant green building education and training that has been peer-reviewed and approved by USGBC.
