by Brianna Crandall — December 1, 2010—Leaders from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) and China Urban Reality Association (CURA) recently signed a Letter of Intent at USGBC’s annual Greenbuild International Conference and Expo in Chicago.
The letter solidifies the strategic alliance between the two organizations to foster green building capacity among CURA member companies, while accelerating green building development in China.
CURA, a non-government organization formed by major developers in China, intends to collaborate with USGBC to promote green building development in China through education and training. Currently, there are nearly 80 LEED certified and 340 registered projects across China.
