by AF0303 j5 — March 5, 2010—UGL Unicco, a subsidiary of UGL Limited, has been selected by Utica National Insurance Group to provide custodial services for the company’s headquarters, east regional office and archives warehouse, all in the Utica, New York area.
UGL Unicco was awarded the three-year contract because of its leadership in providing sustainable facilities services, according to the recent announcement. It is implementing its UGL Unicco GreenClean program, replacing traditional, petroleum-based cleaners and solvents with Green Seal-certified sustainable cleaning solutions. UGL Unicco also immediately replaced all of the cleaning equipment with updated equipment, such as high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA)-certified vacuum cleaners.
