by Ann Withanee — October 3, 2011—Designed for a full array of facilities ranging from offices and reception rooms to colleges and hospitality areas, Virco’s new Sage Contract chairs successfully unite the company’s comfortable Sage shell with a gently angled four-leg frame.

Sage Contract provides facilities executives with the opportunity to bring comfort and style to employees and visitors alike. Sage’s generously sculpted one-piece shell enables better seating load distribution for less fatigue, greater comfort and enhanced circulation. A flexible, high-profile backrest with raised contours provides a smoother “ride” when leaning back in the chair.

Conceived for Virco by the award-winning team of Peter Glass and Bob Mills, Sage Contract chairs combine understated design lines and an elegantly dimpled backrest to quietly complement discerning interior spaces. And, says Virco, thanks to its ergonomically supportive shell, Sage Contract delivers long-lasting comfort that most two-piece seating simply can’t match.

Virco’s initial Sage Contract offerings come with or without a padded, upholstered seat. Additional models are under development and are targeted for release in the near future.

Virco has developed recycling and resource recovery systems, community service initiatives and sustainable business practices. They are discussed in the Corporate Stewardship section in the Virco Web site.
