by Shane Henson — December 26, 2011—WAC Lighting, a global manufacturer and innovative designer of lighting products, has launched two products that facilities managers will find both energy efficient and aesthetically pleasing.

According to the company, its new LEDme Step Lights offer a sleek profile and enhanced functionality ideal for safety and style on indoor and outdoor stairs, walls and other pathways. To meet a range of needs, they are offered in versatile, horizontal and circular scoop designs for a clean, seamless installation without any visible hardware. Easy to retrofit on to a single gang rectangular-style junction box, these luminaires feature a wide beam angle for broad lighting distribution and deliver balanced, consistent lighting free of shadows and glare.

Constructed with a cast aluminum body, the new Step Lights can be dimmed with an ELV dimmer and feature a replaceable LED module. The LED luminaires minimize energy consumption and maintenance while extending their life to 50,000 hours. Mounting hardware is available in white, bronze and brushed nickel designer finishes to coordinate with a variety of decors.

The Step Light luminaires are IP66 rated and UL listed for wet locations and offered with WAC Lighting’s five-year product warranty.

In addition to the new LEDme Step Lights, WAC Lighting offers a broad range of award-winning products, including stunning artisanal glass pendants; low/line voltage track systems; line and low-voltage recessed downlights; line/low-voltage single and two-circuit monorail systems; and InvisiLED, LED tape systems for both indoor and outdoor applications.

According to WAC Lighting, nearly 90 percent of the company’s products are fabricated, including components, at its state-of-the-art manufacturing campus in China.
