by Shane Henson — March 2, 2012—WAC Lighting has added to its high-quality decorative and task lighting lines with the addition of LEDme Wash Light, a sophisticated, energy-efficient 120-volt track luminaire.
According to the company, the new product offers a symmetrical wide-angle beam spread and excellent color rendering for a variety of wall wash and many other applications. It is also compatible with WAC’s L, H and J track systems, as well as the industry’s most popular track systems.
The new LEDme Wash Light dims down to one percent with an electronic low-voltage dimmer. Its optimized thermal management system ensures a much longer life, making it an ideal replacement for outdated T5 fluorescent fixtures, say the product’s designers. In addition, the Wash Light offers a 114-degree symmetrical wide-angle beam spread and zero to 26-degree vertical aiming adjustability in either direction.
Designed with a low profile and a height of only 1 7/8 inches, the Wash Light features an integral electronic transformer and a replaceable LED (light-emitting diode) module. The luminaire is crafted with an extruded aluminum body and an acrylic diffuser lens. Die-cast aluminum adapters are included with a locking knob to secure the fixture firmly to the track.
Offered in a length of 20 3/4 inches, the 10-watt model is offered in a 3000K color temperature with a Color Rendering Index (CRI) of 85, a 483-lumen output, and an efficacy of 48.3 (lumens per watt), or a 4000K color temperature with a CRI of 82, a 499-lumen output and an efficacy of 49.9.
Available in a length of 32 5/8 inches, the 19.4-watt model is offered in a 3000K color temperature with a CRI of 85, 912 lumens and a 47 efficacy, or a 4000K color temperature with an 82 CRI, an output of 1010 lumens and a 52.1 efficacy.
Available in black and white designer finishes, the Wash Light can be mounted one, two or three feet from the wall for a variety of wall wash lighting applications. The LEDme Wash Light is backed by a five-year warranty.
