by Brianna Crandall — March 24, 2017 — Magnuson Group, a U.S.-based manufacturer and distributor of commercial office and facility furniture and accessories, recently introduced its new TRADA line of American-made contemporary-design waste and recycling receptacles. The containers feature optional step mechanisms that provide a soft close, and bag rings that hold lift-out internal liners.
Designed by MG Studio, TRADA waste and recycling receptacles present a refined, clean, functional design. An architectural aesthetic and high functionality make TRADA applicable for all markets: corporate, government, healthcare, schools and universities, light industrial, retail, public spaces, transportation and others, says the company.
TRADA waste and recycling units either stand alone or can be grouped, moved and regrouped as user recycling needs change. The rectangular units with an elegantly curved front have colored lids with a choice of three die-cut openings for placing varying waste materials. Units are engineered to be crisp, stable, and resistant to debris and tarnish.
TRADA 24-gallon waste and recycling containers are constructed of painted steel. Receptacle bodies are available in Britebond Silver, Mineral Bronze or Sky White. Top and step colors are Britebond Silver, Clementine Orange, Marigold Yellow, Marine Blue, Mineral Bronze, Sea Green or Sky White.
TRADA-STEP comprises a closed top with adjustable slides and a painted steel step mechanism. Units measure 30 inches high x 18 5/16 inches wide by 14 1/2 inches deep, with a liner capacity of 16 gallons.
TRADA-01 comprises three universally recognized top opening options — square for “waste,” round for “recycling” and wide curved-edge slots for paper. Units measure 30 inches high x 18 5/16 inches wide by 12 1/2 inches deep, with a liner capacity of 16 gallons.
Ten available graphic icons for TRADA front panels are available in vinyl colors to match tops. The graphics include icons for disposal of cans, co-mingled, compost, glass, landfill, organics, paper, plastic, recycling, and waste. TRADA units are designed to be convenient to use, low maintenance, durable and washable.
Literature, specifications, pricing and an introductory video for TRADA or the company’s other waste and recycling receptacles, institutional coat racks, office/facilities accessories, and graphical office signage icons are available on the Magnuson Group Web site.
