The inaugural FTE World Innovation Summit, “Where Next is Now,” will take place in Pittsburgh May 13-15. Hosted by Pittsburgh International Airport, the Summit offers three conference tracks, interactive workshops at Carnegie Mellon University, innovation tours of Pittsburgh-based tech hubs, networking opportunities and exclusive visits to the new PIT terminal. Industry leaders from across North America and the globe will explore transformative ideas inspired by Pittsburgh Airport’s innovative approaches.
Building on the successful collaboration between Future Travel Experience (FTE) and Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) for the Aviation & Robotics Summit in 2023 and 2024, the FTE World Innovation Summit will bring together over 400 air transport industry innovators for a three-day experience.
Hosted at the world-famous Carnegie Mellon University, the Summit’s conference tracks will focus on Advanced Technology (including robotics and AI), Energy & Sustainability, and Future Airports. Attendees will include executives from airports, airlines, OEMs, government agencies, and supplier partners to air transport. Tickets for airports and airlines will be complimentary to maximize their attendance.
Of major interest is the Summit’s exclusive look and insights on the PIT Terminal Modernization Program (TMP). Pittsburgh International Airport is transforming travel by undergoing an ambitious, airport-wide modernization to better meet the needs of a region on the rise.
