LEVEL by BIFMA (accredited CEU sustainable furniture selection course) [VIRTUAL]

LEVEL by BIFMA 2023 sustainable furniture coursePart of the BIFMA Learning Monthly Series, this is a live virtual learning opportunity for designers, buyers, educators, BIFMA members, and anyone interested in furniture for the built environment. There is no fee to attend. This course gives detail to the LEVEL certification by BIFMA and its role in the selection of sustainable furniture. Though many building rating systems and programs feature sustainability criteria, none focus extensively on the sustainability of furniture. LEVEL takes furniture sustainability further than other certifications and is a key tool for furniture selection. A LEVEL certification provides furniture products with a third-party accreditation of conformance to the ANSI/BIFMA e3 Furniture Sustainability Standard.  BIFMA encourages all manufacturers members to seek the highest tier of LEVEL certification they can, and buyers to select products that are LEVEL certified. Attendees include A&D professionals; sales/marketing professionals; facility managers, owners and CEOs; instructors and students, and commercial furniture manufacturers and suppliers. IDCEC, AIA and GBCI credits are available. Presenter: Ashley Blevins, VP of Sales, Via Seating.
