by Brianna Crandall — November 4, 2016 — Rubbermaid Commercial Products (RCP) showcased its latest refuse solutions, washroom technology and other innovations October 25-27 at the ISSA/INTERCLEAN North America 2016 show in Chicago. North Carolina-based RCP is a manufacturer of innovative, solution-based products for commercial and institutional markets worldwide, and part of Newell Brands. The company’s three newest products are highlighted below.
Enhance premium collection of trash cans
Available in early 2017, the Enhance collection of premium trash receptacles can be tailored to complement a property’s upscale décor, with easily replaceable color panels. The trash cans include a fingerprint-resistant coating, floating lids to reduce the chance of pinching, and a flare on the receptacle rim to gain an easier grip on the plastic liner during removal. BRUTE Step-On Rollout Container
Rubbermaid Commercial Products also introduced its new BRUTE Step-On Rollout Container at the show. RCP has added a step-on feature to its BRUTE trash cans to provide a new hands-free solution that makes managing bulky waste throughout professional facilities easier. In addition, RCP has incorporated heavy-duty wheels with high-performance treads and swivel casters to the container for optimal indoor and outdoor use.
RCP says its Enhance and BRUTE collections of high-end professional products aim to exceed customer expectations of “unparalleled durability, improved efficiency and productivity.” The company’s full line of utility trash cans was also on display, including the Slim Jim and Slim Jim Step-On containers.
Scentelligent Wide Area Air Care
Rubbermaid Commercial Products also showcased its new Scentelligent Wide Area Air Care. This air-care system is designed to deliver consistent, precise ambient fragrance. Scentelligent connects to RCP’s integrated global network via the Web. This enables each fixture to communicate with a centralized command center and the user’s smartphone to ensure fragrance levels are monitored and proactively maintained.
Also on display at ISSA/INTERCLEAN were RCP’s innovative washroom technology solutions, including its interactive washroom app, the TCell 2.0 passive odor control system, and four products power-driven by a renewable energy system called LumeCel Technology: Microburst 3000 dispensing system, AutoFoam self-powered touch-free dispenser, AutoClean automated dispenser, and AutoJanitor programmable dispenser.
