by Rebecca Walker — February 9, 2011—Agents4FM, a U.K.-based FM consulting firm, has teamed with U.S.-based Facility Engineering Associates (FEA) to provide advice and training around the world.
Agents4FM, founded in 2009, operates in the U.K., Belgium, Denmark, Qatar, Abu Dhabi and Dubai and offers services, advice and resources including the design and implementation of standards; assistance with procurement; hands-on interim management at all levels; market and technical research; performance auditing; and both management and specific FM training.
Facility Engineering Associates is an international engineering and facility management consulting firm that aims to help extend the service life of facilities and building systems as well as improve the way facility management organizations operate.
Each business will trade independently and retain its own identity, but they will cooperate closely to develop business opportunities and new service solutions.
Members of the alliance are Lionel Prodgers, Dave Wilson, Teena Shouse, Chris Hodges and Jim Whittaker. Together they hold many senior positions including board, deputy, and chairmanships in BIFM, EuroFM and the International Facility Management Association, as well as chairmanship of Global FM, board member of the APPA Board for Educational Facilities Professional Certification, and IFMA Qualified Instructors.
The cooperation agreement covers advisory services and training, with FEA leaders already approved training instructors for IFMA across North America. Agents4FM has a specialist training business called Training4FM.
“We already have a great reputation in North America and we believe that together with Agents4FM we will be able to continue to deliver and build on that reputation globally,” Chris Hodges said. “We share a vision of great FM, and we are looking forward to the future of working with Agents4FM.”
