by Brianna Crandall — August 24, 2012—AmeriCool Inc. has added a new portable air conditioning unit to its lineup. The new unit, the WPC-4000, features a cooling capacity of 16,800 BTU/h, and can operate between 64F and 104F. The unit comes standard with cold air nozzles or a grill option, and has optional accessories that include a condensate pump, condenser air plenum and remote control. All AmeriCool units are designed to withstand the rigors of harsh industrial environments as well as the 24/7 cooling requirements of computer room cooling.

The WPC-4000, along with all of AmeriCool Inc.’s units, also features an industry-leading warranty that includes parts and labor for one year on the entire unit and three years on the compressor, bringing peace of mind with any AmeriCool investment. With labor costs rising, the cost of repairing a unit can exceed $1,000 before including parts costs, notes the company.

Founded in 2011, AmeriCool Inc. is the official sales, marketing, and distribution company for Weltem air conditioning products in North America. AmeriCool portable air conditioning units are available through a nationwide network of distributors. Products range from one to five tons, offering air conditioning solutions to large and small companies. AmeriCool portable air conditioners are designed to meet the “mission critical” needs of highly technological applications, and because of their rugged construction, they are also reportedly ideal for harsh industrial applications.
