CWorks is giving a free PC to its maintenance management system subscribers

by Rebecca Walker — February 20, 2009—CWorks is giving new subscribers of its web-based CareWorks CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) a free, new wifi-ready Lenovo S10 Netbook PC. This free Netbook PC will be given on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last and is available to any new one-year subscriber of the company’s CareWorks CMMS.

CareWorks, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) option for facility managers, provides economical and efficient facility management software for those companies that seek a completely hosted and managed solution. The mobile CareWorks is particularly suitable for hotels, plants, schools, hospitals, and other facilities that often maintain multiple sites without sufficient IT budget and personnel, says CWorks IS.

As explained by CEO Abdul Rani Achmed, offering a free computer to new subscribers of its Web-based CMMS met two objectives. “First, we wanted to develop a facility management tool that allows facility managers to concentrate on facility management, not IT,” said he said. “Secondly, we wanted to help managers go mobile. What better way to assist facility managers in achieving mobility than by giving them a laptop PC to operate their facilities.”

CWorks Systems is an award winning, publicly listed, global leader of maintenance management solutions with half a million users in over 100 countries. For more information, see the Web site.
