Dō Sustainability e-book outlines strategies for making companies more sustainable

by Shane Henson — November 21, 2012—Dō Sustainability, the U.K.-based publisher of DōShorts—a new series of short, practical e-books that distill sustainability insights and best practices for busy professionals—has added How to Make Your Company a Recognised Sustainability Champion to its list of offerings.

Written by Brendan May, an advisor to multinational corporations on sustainability strategy and communications, the publication offers a succinct strategy for joining the ranks of Marks & Spencer, Unilever, and a host of small and medium-sized organizations that are putting sustainability at the heart of their business plan, says Dō Sustainability.

The publication has already received praise from sustainability professionals.

“Here at last is a practical, common sense approach to sustainability that all businesses can follow,” wrote Tony Juniper, a senior associate in the Cambridge Programme for Sustainability Leadership. “This no-nonsense guide explains how each business function has an important part to play in the development and implementation of a successful strategy. Most importantly, it outlines how such involvement will deliver commercial benefit and real profitability.”
