by Brianna Crandall — May 28, 2014—Electronic Temperature Instruments Ltd, manufacturer of thermal technology products distributed around the world, has introduced an easy-to-use maximum/minimum, in/out and alarm thermometer that indicates temperatures over the range of -49.9 to 69.9 °C with a resolution of 0.1 °C/°F and an accuracy of 1 °C.
The industrial thermometer features a large liquid crystal display (LCD), a maximum/minimum memory function to record the highest and lowest temperatures, and a high/low programmable audible alarm. The unit incorporates two temperature sensors, external and internal sensors.
The water-resistant remote probe can be mounted onto an external wall using the suction pad or mounting bracket supplied to indicate outside temperatures, while the unit itself can be positioned inside a building, simultaneously recording both the external and the internal temperatures.
Housed in a durable ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) molded plastic case, the max/min thermometer incorporates a foot-stand for shelf mounting.
The unit is competitively priced, and available direct from the Electronic Temperature Instruments Ltd Web site in the United Kingdom (or from ThermoWorks in the United States), using the ordering code 810-125.
Electronic Temperature Instruments Ltd manufactures a wide variety of thermal and related products ranging from thermometers for industrial, food processing, catering, printing and infrared uses to calibration equipment, humidity meters, pH meters and testers, and data loggers.
