IIDA announces winners of 2015 design / architecture awards

by Brianna Crandall — January 6, 2016—The International Interior Design Association (IIDA), in collaboration with Designworks, a BMW Group Company, recently announced the winners of the 2015 IIDA Global Excellence Awards. This annual worldwide design competition honors and celebrates outstanding originality and excellence in the creation of international interior design and interior architecture projects.

Julio Braga, FIIDA, LEED AP (Design Director/Principal, IA Interior Architects, New York Office), said on behalf of the judges:

I was impressed by the quality of entries in every category. The jury was inspired by many of the projects, which were strategically sound and beautifully executed. We were also encouraged to see new countries represented in the competition. This highlights the importance of design in emerging markets.
