Industrial Nanotech gets Red Cross order for lead abatement coating

by Rebecca Walker — September 7, 2009—Industrial Nanotech, Inc., an emerging global leader in nanoscience solutions, announced that the Red Cross has purchased 150 gallons of the company’s patented Nansulate LDX lead abatement coating for restoration of a building in Louisiana.

It is the largest order of Nansulate LDX to date, according to the company.

Nansulate LDX was chosen for this and many other projects because it offers a cost effective solution for lead and lead based-paint abatement and is the only clear encapsulant that can be applied to a wide variety of surfaces, including wood and brick, said a company official.

Nansulate is the Company’s patented product line of award winning, specialty coatings containing a nanotechnology based material and which are well-documented to provide the combined performance qualities of thermal insulation, corrosion prevention, resistance to mold growth, fire resistance, chemical resistance and lead encapsulation in an environmentally safe, water-based, coating formulation.
