July 11, 2005—IQAir North America, (IQAIR), the industry leader in medical grade air filtration, has announced that it is becoming a member of the Advisory Group convened by the Environmental Education Foundation (EEF).
This advisory group is under a contract from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to promote the EPA’s indoor air quality guidance. The advisory group will encourage use of the EPA IAQ guidance as the basis for managing indoor environmental quality risks, notes IQAir.
The group’s focus will be on the development and use of the EPA’s IAQ Building Education and Assessment Model (I-Beam) software. The I-Beam software is a total IAQ management program for use by commercial and multi- family buildings.
