by Shane Henson — December 23, 2011—Tieto, a leading IT service company in Northern Europe providing information technology (IT) and product engineering services, and ISS, one of the world’s leading facilities services companies, are expanding their partnership to include eight new countries. The agreement now includes property and facilities management services.
The agreement between ISS and Tieto now covers Czech Republic, Poland, the United Kingdom, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Russia and the Philippines. According to Tieto, the agreeement is based on the company’s continuing strategy of harmonizing its property services in the different countries it operates in.
By significantly expanding its outsourced operations to ISS, Tieto hopes to add increased flexibility and cost-effectiveness to its property services, a major advantage in the continually changing global business environment.
According to ISS, the new agreement is an important expansion of its partnership with Tieto as well as a significant step forward in producing leading service solutions on an international scale.
