by Rebecca Walker — January 21, 2011—J+J/Invision has added to modular carpets and a broadloom option to its offerings. The two modular carpets, Coalesce and Collaborate, have joined J+J/Invision’s Coordinates Collection, which includes three existing broadloom patterns Mix, Merge and Fuse.

Collaborate, a small-scale design, features a loose, offset square with more definite patterning. The scale is large enough to create visual interest on the floor while providing a tailored backdrop to a range of interior spaces. Coalesce offers design with a subtle, textural aesthetic. This easy-to-use, flexible product makes a beautiful backdrop for a wide variety of fabrics, finishes and wood tones.

The carpets complement one another in scale and pattern to create a well-rounded, cost-effective pair of designs, says the company.

Both were created to work alone, together or in conjunction with Mix, Merge and Fuse in addition to many other existing J+J/Invision products.

The company has also added a new broadloom option, Chain Maille, inspired by a type of armor used from 300 B.C. to the dawn of the 20th century. It features a distinct, small-scale basket weave pattern that creates an elegant, dimensional feel on the floor, says J+J/Invision.
