by AF 0623 d3 NeoCon — July 1, 2009—Highmark continues the momentum it started at last year’s NeoCon with new entries in its InMotion series of counterbalance chair, all displayed at the Hallmark showroom during NeoCon World’s Trade Fair in The Merchandise Mart, Chicago.

Highmark partnered with InMotion designer Francisco Romero of Phidesign for the new editions. Featuring Body Balance, a weight-activated counterbalance technology, the InMotion series of chairs represents the simplest ergonomic chairs on the market.

InMotion chairs conform to users’ bodies and continually adjust with every movement or change of posture and balance, says the company. Since they self-adjust, Highmark’s InMotion chairs eliminate human error, thereby reducing workplace injuries and stress. Their design ensures that users are correctly positioned and remain ergonomically supported.

Two new chairs in the InMotion series are the InTune and an InSync side chair. With an anti-microbial polymer back, InTune offers the same health benefits found in InSync, the series launched last year, at an even lower price point. The InSync side chair comes in many color combinations.

InMotion chairs are 98 percent recyclable, made of 21 percent recycled post-industrial material and are Greenguard certified. The InMotion chairs have mid-back or high-back options, with fixed or height-and-width adjustable arms; they come with or without a floating lumbar and in a wide variety of colors and finishes.
