Responding to frequent customer demand for Spicer view/markup capabilities, Cimage NovaSoft has named Spicer Imagenation as the only third-party supplier of integrated view/markup capabilities for NovaManage, its popular document management solution. Cimage NovaSoft is a major global supplier of e-business solutions using document management, records management, and workflow solutions to manufacturing, utility, nuclear, pharmaceutical, petrochemical and process companies worldwide. Spicer Corporation develops view-markup-scan-edit software for EDM, PDM, ERP, and Reprographics, utilized by system integrators, end users, VARs, OEMs, and document portals around the world.
NovaManage users will now have access to the latest version of Imagenation, enabling them to view and cross-section 3D CAD models, view nearly 150 different file formats, rasterize and print drawings using the new bilevel CAD printing and rasterization profiles, and utilize improved markup and editing tools.
Imagenation is now integrated with NovaManage using APIs rather than the previous DDE integration, resulting in a more robust and flexible product that can be easily upgraded to future versions of Imagenation. Current NovaManage users that subscribe to Spicer’s software maintenance agreement can upgrade to Imagenation 6.1 upon request. Further integrations of Spicer software are anticipated, such as the Novation Web application and Spicer ViewCafe.
