by Shane Henson — November 16, 2011—WAC Lighting, a global manufacturer and designer of lighting products, is now offering its Sun Dance and Moon Dance reflector trims for the HR-8412 4-inch Low Voltage Downlight. The reflector trims have a number of attractive features.
The recessed adjustable trim, offered with an interior reflector, can be used with WAC’s HR-8400 series of low-voltage housings. A broad range of IC/Airtight ready and Non-IC housings are available for new construction and remodeling installations. A recessed alternative to surface-mount track fixtures, these recessed luminaires feature a central lamp holder that allows the lamp to be tilted vertically up to 35 degrees. The supplied clear glass lens can be replaced with one lens accessory, while the fixture can be installed on surfaces up to three-quarters of an inch.
The luminaires are constructed of durable stamped metal with three heavy-gauge retention clips to firmly hold trim to the housing. The fixture utilizes 12v MR16 halogen lamps with a maximum wattage of 75.
Finishes are available in abrasion-resistant powder coats or plated metal and are offered in four combinations: Moon Dance reflector with white trim; Sun Dance reflector with white trim; clear reflector with brushed nickel trim; and clear reflector with white trim. Accessories include color and dichroic color lenses, frosted, spread, beam-elongating lenses, UV filter, and honeycomb louver.
The recessed luminaires are UL and CUL listed for damp and dry locations and include WAC Lighting’s five-year product warranty.
